COVID SAFETY
We care for your safety over anything else. We have managed to minimise the risk as much as possible when you attend for your specialist appointment.
COVID Safety

Are you open?

Yes, we certainly are!

The COVID-19 pandemic means that life has been transformed, but our dedication to providing safe, high-quality care continues.

As an essential medical service, we are able to stay open in order to continue to help our patients. Especially with the NHS having temporarily closed down a lot of outpatient services. If you need urgent treatment for your skin condition, we can help.

Prioritising Patient COVID Safety

In addition to extensive cleaning and disinfection across the clinic, patient screening measures, mandatory face mask rules and social distancing measures, we have taken the additional new steps to guard against the coronavirus:
  • Patient Flow Control – one way system
  • Drinks – for now, we will not be providing refreshments
  • All staff at Aiconic Clinics are currently being vaccinated against Covid-19

COVID Safety Routines

COVID Safety

Patient Screening

To help ensure that no one showing signs of COVID-19 arrives unexpectedly, we’ve set up screenings at the entrance. Both patients and staff are screened for COVID-19 symptoms before they arrive.

Hand Hygiene

We ask that you wash your hands throughly, before and after you visit our clinic.  Hand sanitisers are also located in our reception area, waiting room and clinic rooms.

We have also removed any paper literature from the waiting area including magazines and promotional brochures, to minimise contamination.

Respiratory Hygiene

We ask all our patients to wear a face mask when entering our clinic.

Our medical team will all wear appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE) including face masks, aprons and gloves.

COVID Safety

Social Distancing

To minimise contact between patients, we ask that you do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your appointment. To keep you safe, we’ve modified our waiting rooms so that you will be at least 6 feet apart.

Visitors

We are also asking that you attend without your friends/relatives for now.  By having less people in our facilities, there is less chance for the virus to circulate.  If you do have exceptional circumstances, such as you require an interpreter or carer to accompany you, please contact our team beforehand.

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to change and develop, so too will the measures that we have in place.  We do hope to welcome friends/relatives back soon, because we understand how important it is to have support when you need it.

Cleaning Schedules

We know that COVID-19 like other germs, can live on surfaces that people touch.  That’s why we’ve added extra surface cleanings, disinfection, and safety protocols, in addition to our regular rigorous cleaning standards.

Questions about COVID Safety?

We have few empty rooms and hence we are able to have enough space for most patients, to be seated by themselves in different waiting areas.
